Youngest brother. 2 years younger than Tansy. Very very open. He could have passed under Basil's radar, or had more of a spine than Tansy. A massive problem. Basil essentially decided that he was the strongest one in the household, and that he should take over to help 'teach' the family how to stand up for themselves, and hates the pacifist nature of the family. For what reason, this is up to you. However, he is definitely verbally abusive to basically everyone in his family. Tansy experienced this the worst because she had a much harder time brushing it off, and with her anxiety and low self-esteem, Basil only further pushed her into a bad mindset. Perhaps he wanted to give them tough love but really fucked it up. Or maybe he just has a superiority complex. He even encouraged his friends to mock Tansy, perhaps to toughen her up, or 'expose her to the harsh realities of life', or maybe they were afraid of him and just continued pushing for it. Or maybe they saw her as weak too and he encouraged that mindset over tolerance. I have written that Basil has a wife, or did by the time Tansy left for MANC - whether they get along or are even still married is up to you. I imagine him to be much different around others outside his family rather than directly to his family, and that he's ambitious and strong-willed (both qualities that could be put in a better light... or not). Basil is not a good person. But there could always be more sides to him than just what Tansy or her family sees. I welcome potential players to explore this!

While she's not as anxious and soft spoken as Tansy, she's the most similar to her youngest daughter in her polite, soft and gentle ways. She was also quick to back down from fighting with Basil, though she wanted to redirect him when possible. He would listen to her more than his father, but still not often. She was usually the first to push problems under the rug to try and make everyone forget them so they would get along. She and Kingsley were high school sweethearts and still have a pleasant relationship, if not a loving/passionate one. She may also be considering more children?

A calm and mostly stoic individual, but with a deep love of family. He wasn't terribly good at standing up to Basil simply because they responded to different arguments and stimuli. Kingsley didn't have the strong approach Basil really needed to be corrected. He and his wife are both pacifists, who would prefer to ignore issues rather than take a more direct and confrontational approach. He and June were high school sweethearts and still have a pleasant relationship, if not loving/passionate.
