Hey, I'm Shay! I've been roleplaying off and on for over a decade now and am eager as ever to develop and explore different character dynamics. I like a good amount of variety, so my characters can run the gamut from light and quirky to broody and miserly. When I'm inspired to make a character, it's really 50-50 as to whether there's an actual plot idea attached to them. Combine this with the fact that I'm a bit of a want ad whore, and the result is that I'll rarely post an ad myself. I like to be pleasantly surprised when my floating characters click with other floating characters.

I write 3/3/3 as it suits the plot/situation/character. I haven't gotten [i]far[/i] with same-sex pairings in the past (reasons never had to do with the pairings themselves), but am not adverse to trying them on for size. My male characters tend to outnumber my female ones because of my want ad whoreness and because males tend to be more in demand, but I do love playing both!

When I'm not roleplaying (writing OR lurking one of the many stalk-worthy threads on the board), I'm working as an app developer, watching one of my too-numerous-to-count television shows, [s]thinking about things that have a 30-40% chance of developing into a character/thread idea[/s], and geeking out about fountain pens/ink.
